NEW YORK (AP) Doubledown Again powered to a 6 1/2-length victory on Wednesday in the $69,000 opening-day allowance feature at Aqueduct.

The gray 4-year-old gelding made his second start for trainer Michelle Nevin, who claimed him for $50,000 in August at Saratoga. He was second in his debut for the new barn earlier this month.

Junior Alvarado was aboard as Doubledown Again got his fifth win in 24 starts, paying $13.80, $6.80 and $3.90.

The time was 1:09.36 for the six furlongs on the fast track.

Glickman, the 2-1 favorite, finished second but was disqualified and placed third for drifting out in the stretch.

The placing elevated Loki's Vengeance into the place spot, and he returned $6.20 and $4.70. Glickman paid $2.70 to show.
