Aqueduct cancels Saturday racing because of cold weather

NEW YORK (AP) Aqueduct has canceled the Saturday card due to cold temperatures and high winds in the New York area.

It was Aqueduct's eighth weather-prompted cancellation in January.

The scheduled feature, the $100,000 Ladies Handicap, was postponed until Friday.

Aqueduct and Belmont Park remained open for simulcast betting on out-of-state races.
