Room for Me takes Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) Room for Me, the 1-5 favorite, was the pacesetting winner Sunday in the $90,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Cornelio Velasquez rode for trainer-owner David Jacobson as the 5-year-old beat Frivolity by 3 3/4 lengths for her seventh win in 15 starts.

The 5-year-old ran the six furlongs in 1:10.02, paying $2.40, $2.30 and $2.10.

Frivolity returned $6 and $2.70, and La Madrina paid $2.10 to show.
