The 2016 Kentucky Derby will be held on Saturday at Churchill Downs at 6:43 p.m. ET.

Last year’s winner, American Pharoah, became the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to win the Triple Crown of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.

Nyquist, this year’s favorite at 3–1 odds, drew Gate 13, the same position he started from before winning last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. Since 1990, four horses have won from the No. 13 spot with the most recent being Smarty Jones in 2004.

The top challenger is expected to be Exaggerator, who is currently given 5–1 odds. He drew the No. 11 post.
