Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu is doubtful for his next start on Wednesday vs. the Rockies, according to tweets Saturday night from Bill Shaikin of The Los Angeles Times, citing comments from manager Don Mattingly.
The 27-year-old from South Korea will get an MRI on Monday on his left shoulder to get a better sense of the irritation he's been experiencing in his arm. He is 14-7 this season with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in 26 starts. Earlier this summer, he missed more than two weeks with a strained glute.
The Dodgers remain atop the NL West heading into Saturday night's game in San Francisco against the Giants.
