Diamondbacks pitcher Chase Anderson off disabled list

PHOENIX (AP) The Arizona Diamondbacks have reinstated pitcher Chase Anderson from the 15-day disabled list in time to start Friday night against the Cincinnati Reds.

Anderson was placed on the disabled list July 19 because of an inflamed right triceps. Arizona had optioned pitcher Allen Webster to Triple-A Reno after Thursday's game at Washington, opening a roster spot for Anderson.

Anderson pitched four scoreless innings with three strikeouts in a rehab start Aug. 2. He had the eighth-best ERA in the NL on June 17 - 2.84 ERA in 13 starts. He is 4-4 with a 4.37 ERA in 18 starts.

Webster was called up from Reno on Aug. 5. He threw two innings of relief Thursday.
