The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tuesday announced several of the bouts for its UFC Fight Night 15 event "Diaz vs. Neer" on Sept. 17 in Omaha, Neb.

The main event, of course, features "The Ultimate Fighter Season 5" winner Nate Diaz in action against Josh Neer. Diaz is currently undefeated in the UFC riding a four-fight winning streak in the promotion. Neer spent most of the past two years fighting outside of the UFC, but returned to the promotion earlier this year with a win over American Top Team fighter Din Thomas in Colorado.

Mac Danzig has was won both his starts in the Octagon by submission capturing "The Ultimate Fighter Season 6" crown before moving on to defeat highly regarded Mark Bocek at UFC 83. He faces popular lightweight ClayGuida, who has ridden a roller coaster in his UFC career, but always seems to be in contention for "Fight of the Night" with his efforts. He recently defeated Samy Schiavo at UFC Fight Night 13.

After scoring impressive knockouts in his first two Octagon appearances, hometown favorite Houston Alexander will have the opportunity to rectify his current two-fight skid in front of the Omaha crowd. He faces Eric Schafer, who is returning to the UFC having scored back-to-back victories at Gladiators Fighting Series after a two-fight losing streak saw him leave the Octagon in late 2007.

Other bouts announced on Tuesday include a middleweight fight between EdHerman and Alan Belcher, and a lightweight contest pitting Joe Lauzon against Kyle Bradley. All four fighters are looking to rebound from losses in their most recent bouts.
