The XFO returns on Saturday, Aug. 9. Known as the "small show with big fights," X-treme Fight Organization will hold its 25th event in Island Lake, Ill.

Headlining the show will be IFL and XFO veteran Bart Palaszewski. "Bartimus" is scheduled to face Eric Wisely in lightweight action. The Team Curran fighter defeated UFC veteran Jeff Cox in his last outing at the inaugural Adrenaline MMA event.

Pat Curran looks to continue his unbeaten streak when he takes on HIT Squad fighter Amir Khillah. The featherweight prospect is coming off of a win over Lazar Stojadinovic. The crew at Tapout were on hand to film Curran recently and his fight will be profiled in a future episode of the Tapout show.

Also, XFO 135-pound champion John Hosman will defend his title against James Haourt and Ultimate Fighter hopeful Jeremiah Riggs takes on the always-tough Dom O'Grady.

On Sunday following XFO 25 will be the grand opening of the new Curran Martial Arts Academy in Crystal Lake. The 24,000 square feet training center will house a brand new ring, cage, state of the art equipment and two mega sized training floors.

Fighters and trainers such as WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres, Ultimate Fighter winner Amir Sadollah, Pedro Sauer, Rory Markham, Nate Mohr, Mark Hominick, Sam Stout and Shawn Tompkins will be in attendance for the grand opening.

In addition, Jeff Curran has scheduled a press conference on the same day where he will make an announcement regarding his future with the WEC.
