UFC Prez to appear on 'Mindfreak'

As further evidence that mixed martial arts is moving into the American mainstream, Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White will make an appearance on the Wednesday, Aug. 27 episode of Criss Angel's Mindfreak on A&E.

Details of how the master illusionist will incorporate White into his performance are scarce. The official promotion of the episode boasts, "With the use of a blindfold, a knife and a deck of cards, Criss attempts to teach UFC president Dana White first-hand how to do a prediction of his own. Can Dana pull off a little magic with the help of the Mindfreak?"

The feat won't be White's first bit of magic, as he and brother Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta mastered their own stunt by resurrecting the UFC from an early grave.

For those that are unaware, Criss Angel is a popular illusionist, whose performances are widely regarded as a darker answer to David Copperfield's popular display of magic and illusions.
