Sidelnikov, Correira test positive

California State Athletic Commission has suspended and fined Kirill "Baby Fedor" Sidelnikov and Wesley Correira for testing positive for banned substances.

Sidelnikov tested postitive for the anabolic steroid Stanozolol, and has been suspended through Jan. 18, 2010 and fined $2,500. He last competed at Affliction's "Day of Reckoning" on Jan. 24, where he lost to Paul Buentello by technical knockout (doctor's stoppage) in the third round. The fight marked the Russian's debut with the promotion after compiling a 5-2 record with M-1.

In a statement released by CSAC Assistant Executive Director, WilliamDouglas, the mere presence of Stanozolol in the system constitutes a violation under the new testing procedures for CSAC.
