Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz’s rivalry was kicked up a notch on Wednesday when a press conference turned ugly.

McGregor and Diaz were promoting their much-anticipated rematch at Saturday’s UFC 202 when Diaz suddenly left the stage. He shouted something at McGregor, who responded by calling Diaz’s “whole team” a “bunch of crackhead esés.” Diaz continued to jaw at McGregor and make obscene gestures as he walked out of the room.

Diaz then threw a bottle of water toward McGregor. McGregor responded by taking the cans of Monster energy drink from the stage and throwing them at Diaz and his entourage, despite UFC president Dana White pleading him to stop.

You can see the altercation in the video below, which contains strong language.

McGregor and Diaz are two of UFC’s most volatile personalities and have a fiercely heated rivalry. The two nearly came to blows during their UFC 196 pre-fight press conference.
