Kings, Bucks, Bobcats swing deal; more trades for Sacramento?
The Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed in principle to a draft-day deal, league sources told SI.com.
The Bucks are expected to receive small forward Stephen Jackson, point guard Shaun Livingston and the No. 19 pick from Charlotte, as well as point guard Beno Udrih from the Kings. Charlotte, which also has the No. 9 selection, is set to acquire Sacramento's No. 7 choice and small forward Corey Maggette.
The Kings, meanwhile, are poised to obtain former Sacramento small forward John Salmons and the No. 10 pick from the Bucks. Rival executives were quick to speculate that the Kings would take BYU guard Jimmer Fredette at that spot, but it remains to be seen whether Sacramento is done dealing.
According to sources, they have been seriously considering a trade for San Antonio point guard Tony Parker in recent days. The Spurs' insistence on including small forward Richard Jefferson was seen as a major obstacle, however, although the Kings have been looking for veteran help at the that position.
