Power forward Drew Gooden has re-signed with the Washington Wizards on a one-year deal, reports Eric Pincus of BasketballInsiders.com.

Gooden, 32, was signed toward the end of last season to shore up a Wizards frontcourt dealing with an injury to Nene.

In 22 regular-season games in Washington, Gooden averaged 8.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Gooden saw his minutes cut in the playoffs, though he still had some big moments, including scoring 12 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the Wizards' Game 1 win over the Indiana Pacers in the second round.
