The Phoenix Suns announced the signing of forward Anthony Tolliver to a multiyear contract Monday. RealGM.com reports Tolliver signed a two-year, $6 million deal.

Tolliver had been receiving interest from several NBA teams, including the Cavaliers, Clippers and Spurs, but told RealGM that Phoenix is "a perfect situation." He thinks he fits in well with the Suns' up-tempo style, which reminds him of his time with the Golden State Warriors

"I’m able to produce at a high level and this style compares to that Golden State team," he said. "I can play the three as well, but my natural position is four, rebounding, hitting open shots. The Suns made it clear I’m coming to play the four. Phoenix is a great city, a great family city.”

Tolliver is known for his perimeter shooting, having ranked 15th in the NBA in three-point percentage last season after shooting 41.3 percent for the Charlotte Hornets. Last year, he shot 48.2 percent in the fourth quarter.
