Approximately two weeks after his big decision to leave the Miami Heat to return to Cleveland, four-time MVP LeBron James announced via social media on Sunday afternoon that he will in fact switch jersey numbers and wear No. 23 again with the Cavaliers.

James, who tweeted the announcement after posting the news on Instagram, had worn No. 6 with the Heat and the change to No. 23 marks the first time he will have worn the number since his final season with the Cavs in 2009-10. He had worn No. 23 going back to the days of his sophomore year of high school. According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, James had been considering a move to No. 32, which he wore his freshman year at St. Vincent-St. Mary's when No. 23 was not available.

The decision to switch back comes approximately two weeks after James announced via an essay for SI.com that he will leave Miami to return home to Cleveland.
