Team USA is considering adding a player to the team's roster after Kevin Durant withdrew from the team on Thursday, Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears reports.

USA basketball executive director Jerry Colangelo told Spears it was likely the team moves forward with the current group, but adding a player is still a possibility.

"I’ve had a couple of calls," Colangelo told Yahoo Sports. "I know a couple agents are offering a good couple of their clients who could fit the bill. I’m going to be on the phones tonight. I was just talking with coach. I’m going to see what our deal is going to be."

Colangelo said he will speak to United States coach Mike Krzyzewski before making a decision about the roster. Colangelo also said he doesn't expect any of the remaining 15 players to pull out following Paul George's leg injury during a team scrimmage last Friday.

Earlier this week, Colangelo said it was unlikely Kevin Love would be added to the roster. Love will reportedly be traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Cleveland Cavaliers later this month.

Team USA cut John Wall, Bradley Beal and Paul Millsap on Tuesday.
