The Miami Heat have shown interest in Emeka Okafor and "considered" Ekpe Udoh, according to a report from Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

Okafor, 31, missed the entire 2013-14 season with a herniated disk in his neck.

A former No. 2 draft pick, the veteran center averaged 9.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks with the Wizards in 2012-13.

The Heat, who also reportedly made inquiries about Jason Maxiell and Andray Blatche, currently have 15 players on their roster, the maximum number allowed.
