Celtics sign former Indiana Hoosiers forward Christian Watford
Former Indiana Hoosiers forward Christian Watford signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the Boston Celtics, Hoop365.com's Mark Deeks reports.
Watford, who graduated from Indiana in 2013, played last season for Hapoel Eilat in Israel, averaging 9.8 points and 5.2 rebounds. The 6-foot-9 forward scored 1,730 points during his career at Indiana while shooting 42.4 percent on three-pointers.

Watford played for the Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors during summer league this year. He scored 8.5 points per game for Detroit.
The Celtics also signed former Kansas State guard Rodney McGruder to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract.
