This offseason, the Lakers added power forwards Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis and guards Wayne Ellington and Ronnie Price. The team also re-signed guards Xavier Henry and Nick Young and forwards Wesley Johnson, Jordan Hill and Ryan Kelly.

The Lakers also drafted former Kentucky power forward Julius Randle with the No. 7 pick in the draft.

The team lost multiple players in free agency, including guards Kent Bazemore, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Farmar, power forward Pau Gasol and center Chris Kaman.

Kupchak also said that star shooting guard Kobe Bryant, who missed all but six games last season due to injuries, has lost 10-12 pounds. Bryant is ranked No. 24 on SI.com's list of the top 100 players for 2014-15.
