Kevin Love writes Cavaliers have great chemistry, not worried about stats
In a post for Derek Jeter's website, The Players' Tribune, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love wrote the team already has great chemistry. He also said he is not concerned about his personal statistics.
Love, who was traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Cavaliers during the offseason, recapped his eventful summer, which was filled with trade rumors. Along with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, Love forms a new "Big 3" in Cleveland.
Love said he was pleasantly surprised by the positivity of the team's 12-hour flight to Brazil earlier this month. Instead of keeping to themselves or sleeping, Love wrote, the players bonded for the duration of the trip.
I was walking down the aisles of the plane, seeing NBA champions all around — Shawn Marion, James Jones, Mike Miller, Brendan Haywood, LeBron James. I was seeing all the international guys like Anderson Varejão from Brazil and Matthew Dellavedova from Australia.
As I moved to my seat, guys were making inside jokes with one another and shouting across the plane. The atmosphere was totally different than what I was used to. And at that moment, a familiar feeling came over me that anybody can relate to when he’s getting his bearings:

After averaging 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds last season, Love said he is not concerned about what his role will be this season playing alongside multiple All-Stars.
"I came to Cleveland because I want to win," Love said. "I’ll grab a broom and sweep the floors if it gets me an NBA title."
The Cavaliers open the regular season next Thursday at home against the New York Knicks.
