Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki will not play in Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ersDallas cited "rest" as the reason Nowitzki is sitting out.

The 36-year-old has played at least 30 minutes in the Mavericks' last four games, including a season-high 39 in a win over the Knicks on Wednesday.

Saturday's matchup with the Sixers marks the second stop of a four-game road trip that also includes meetings with the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.
