Gasol, 30, can sign a short-term deal or a five-year maximum deal with Memphis that could be worth as much as $110 million.
Gasol, the 2013 NBA Defensive Player of the Year and two-time All-Star, averaged a career-high 17.4 points to go along with 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game last season for Memphis.
