Kevin Garnett Hilariously 'Barked' at Jeff Teague During NBA Playoff Game
Former NBA guard Jeff Teague has been going viral from basketball podcast appearances since retiring from the league in 2021.
Teague told another gem of a story from his playing days Wednesday on FanDuel’s Run It Back show when asked to share an anecdote about playing against Hall of Fame big man Kevin Garnett.
“He was crazy,” Teague said of Garnett. “That dude got on all fours one time in a playoff game and barked at me.”
When asked by host Michelle Beadle to clarify, Teague repeated himself with a smile.
“He got on all fours and barked at me in a playoff game. Dude was crazy.”
Teague and Garnett matched up in one playoff series in their careers—the first round of the 2012 Eastern Conference playoffs when the Hawks battled the Celtics.
Garnett and the Celtics won that series in six games, sending Teague and the Hawks packing for summer vacation and leaving quite the interesting memory in the guard's mind.
