He did it again. Giannis Antetokounmpo is to be awarded the 2019-2020 NBA MVP Award, his second-straight win, according to multiple reports Friday. The Milwaukee Bucks forward takes home the honor in back-to-back fashion, one of three players to do so this decade, joining LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the NBA's best record in the regular season, increasing several individual statistical marks along the way including points per game (29.5) and rebounds per game (13.6) between the MVP campaigns.
