General outlook: Warmer and dry. All four outlets predict daytime temperatures in the low 40s, with a low-to-no chance of precipitation at night.

• Weather.com: High of 44 degrees, low of 27 with a 20 percent chance of rain.

• AccuWeather.com: High of 39 degrees, low of 22 with a 21 percent chance of precipitation at night.

• Weather Underground: High of 42 degrees, low of 27, overcast.

• National Weather Service: High of 38 degrees, low of 24, mostly cloudy.

Jan. 28

General outlook: The forecast continues to improve as all four outlets now say the chance of a storm is relatively low. The consensus seems to be cloudy with a high in the mid-to-upper 30s.

• Weather.com:  High of 37 degrees, low of 24 with a 20 percent chance of precipitation during the day and a 10 percent chance at night.

• AccuWeather.com: High of 39 degrees, low of 21 with a chance for rain or snow showers in the morning. 35 percent chance of precipitation in morning dropping to a 25 percent chance in the afternoon.

• Weather Underground: High of 36 degrees, low of 24 with a 20 percent chance of precipitation in the morning and afternoon.

• National Weather Service: Mostly cloudy with a high near 38 degrees.

General outlook: Positive, if you ignore AccuWeather.com. Three of four outlets predict warmer temperatures and a low chance of precipitation in the evening.

• Weather.com:  High of 38 degrees, low of 23 with a 20 percent chance of precipitation during the day and a 10 percent chance at night.

• AccuWeather.com: High of 30 degrees, low of 23 with an an ice storm in the morning and snow, sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon. Overall, an 80 percent chance of precipitation in the morning, 56 percent in the evening.

• Weather Underground: High of 37 degrees, low of 24 with a 10 percent chance of precipitation after noon.

• National Weather Service: Mostly cloudy with a high near 39 degrees.

General outlook: Warmer with a less than 40 percent chance of rain or snow showers.

• Weather.com: High of 37 degrees, low of 27 with a 30 percent chance of rain or snow showers.

• AccuWeather.com: High of 35 degrees, low of 30 with a 35 percent chance of rain or snow showers.
