RENTON, Wash. (AP) The Seattle Seahawks have signed rookie free agent wide receiver Kevin Smith after he was released by both Arizona and Jacksonville.
Seattle signed Smith on Wednesday, a day after clearing a roster spot by releasing rookie defensive tackle Andre Pulu.
Seattle is familiar with Smith because of proximity. He was a standout at Washington, leading in yards receiving during his senior season with the Huskies. Smith had 50 catches for 765 yards and four touchdowns.
