After a 10-6 season that ended in a loss to the Saints in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles had a busy offseason, which included parting ways with wide receiver Desean Jackson, who went to the Redskins, and quarterback Michael Vick, who signed with the Jets.
The Eagles re-signed wide receivers Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin and center Jason Kelce, and added running back Darren Sproles, safety Malcolm Jenkins, and QB Mark Sanchez, who is expected to back up Nick Foles.
In the NFL draft, Philadelphia selected Louisville outside linebacker Marcus Smith with its first-round pick and wide receiver Jordan Matthews of Vanderbilt with its second-rounder.
