Tennessee Titans' Bernard Pollard has Zach Mettenberger's back

Despite giving Zach Mettenberger a hard time, Bernard Pollard said after practice that he had the rookie's back if he ever encounters the guy who punched him in a Nashville bar.

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger has heard plenty from his teammates about getting punched in a Nashville bar by an Alabama fan.

Despite giving Mettenberger a hard time, Pollard said after practice that he had the rookie's back if he ever encountered the puncher.

"Mettenberger is our brother," he said. "And I'll be the first to say it: If we see that sucker who punched him, it's on. We are always going to have our brother's back."

Mettenberger, who Tennessee selected in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft, played for LSU. Alabama has beaten LSU three straight times, including in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game.
