Last season, the New York Jets went 8-8, finished second in the AFC East and missed the playoffs. They drafted safety Calvin Pryor in the first round of this year’s draft and signed quarterback Michael Vick and running back Chris Johnson in free agency.

The Jets open the 2014 preseason at home against Indianapolis and on the road against Cincinnati in consecutive weeks, followed by hosting the cross-town New York Giants and the preseason finale on the road at Philadelphia. The team begins the regular season Sept. 7 at home against Oakland.
