Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers went 8-8, finished second in the AFC North and missed the playoffs. They drafted linebacker Ryan Shazier in the first round of this year’s draft and signed safety Mike Mitchell and wide receiver Lance Moore in free agency.

Pittsburgh opens the 2014 preseason on the road against the New York Giants and at home vs. Buffalo in consecutive weeks, followed by a trip across Pennsylvania to Philadelphia and the home finale vs. the Panthers. The team begins the regular season Sept. 7 at home against the division rival Cleveland Browns.
