Poll: Majority of NFL players think Johnny Manziel will succeed

In a poll, a majority of players believe Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will succeed in the NFL. Sixty-nine percent of the 82 players who answered the question said Manziel will have a good career.

A majority of players who were polled by ESPN believe Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will succeed in the NFL.

Sixty-nine percent of the 82 players who answered the question said Manziel will have a good career.

Manziel made headlines when he flipped off Washington's bench on Monday night at FedEx Field.

Manziel is battling Brian Hoyer for the starting quarterback job, and neither played well during Monday night's game. The two combined to go 9 of 22 in Cleveland's 24-23 loss.

The Browns open the regular season on Sept. 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The fans in Pittsburgh have already created foam fingers to taunt Manziel.
