Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is questionable for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions with a thigh injury, the team announced

Williams did not practice Thursday or Friday. Williams had 14 carries for 72 yards in Carolina's 20-14 Week 1 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFL Week 2 Preview

If Williams can't play against the Lions, backup Jonathan Stewart would get the starting nod.

The Panthers also listed quarterback Cam Newton (ribs), defensive end Greg Hardy (non-injury) and tight end Greg Olsen (non-injury) as probable. All three were full participants in Friday's practice.
