Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said the team is unlikely to use a subpackage featuring rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Shanahan's comments come just days after Browns coach Mike Pettine said that the team could use a package for Manziel.

"Probably not," Shanahan said on CBS Sports Radio, when asked about seeing a Manziel package of plays. "But that always depends on what you're going against – what the looks are – how everything is going as a whole."

Shanahan said there are some things that Manziel can do and that starter Brian Hoyer can't.

"Johnny is not a wildcat quarterback,” Shanahan said. “If our starting quarterback gets injured or something like that, then your backup quarterback comes in. You hope he can run the offense and execute it."
