Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles split first-team reps with Knile Davis on Friday, Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star reports.

Charles left Sunday's Week 2 loss to the Broncos with a high ankle sprain. He had just two carries for 12 yards before leaving the game during the first quarter. Charles returned to practice on Thursday, and his status for Sunday's game against the Dolphins is uncertain.
