New York Jets receiver Eric Decker says he expects to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

Decker injured his hamstring in the Jets' Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers and re-injured it in the second quarter of a loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

Decker practiced on Friday and said his hamstring is feeling better than it was last week.

The 27-year-old has caught 10 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown this season. Last season he recorded 87 receptions for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Jets are 1-2 this season with a win over the Raiders and losses to the Packers and Bears.
