Saints tight end Jimmy Graham may not be able to play in New Orleans' game against the Detroit Lions next Sunday, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Saints had a bye in Week 6. Graham, who suffered a sprained right shoulder in a win over the Bucs last week, would not have played on Sunday if the Saints had a game, according to Schefter.

BANKS: Week 6 injury report

The 27-year-old Graham leads New Orleans with 34 catches for 376 yards and three touchdowns.

The Saints (2-3) signed former Packers tight end Tom Crabtree last week in case Graham misses extended time, and they also have tight ends Benjamin Watson and Josh Hill on their roster.

Bengals-Panthers is highest-scoring tie ever

New Orleans is expected to get running back Mark Ingram back from a hand injury this week, Schefter reports.
