Report: Redskins QB Robert Griffin III will start Sunday vs. Vikings
Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will start on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, reports NBC4's Dianna Marie Russini.
Griffin practiced fully with the team Wednesday, according to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, but the Redskins haven't officially announced who will start against Minnesota.
Redskins coach Jay Gruden had told NFL Network's Albert Breer that Griffin will only play if the injury is stable and if he's comfortable mentally. Gruden added, however, the quarterback is "very close" to returning. Gruden told the Washington Post he would make a decision on whether Griffin would play after Wednesday's practice.

The former Baylor standout has seen action in just two games this season, going 31-for-40 for 305 yards and no touchdowns. He has not played since Sept. 14, however, when he injured his ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
Washington (3-5) is coming off an overtime win against the division rival Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, a victory fueled by backup quarterback Colt McCoy. Griffin participated in pregame warm-ups before that game, leading some to speculate his return would be imminent.
Washington takes on the Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday.
