After running for a fourth-quarter touchdown that put the Seattle Seahawks up 22-19 (after a two-point conversion) with 1:33 remaining in the NFC Championship Game, Marshawn Lynch gave the football he scored with to his mother.
Lynch's touchdown run came after the Seahawks recovered an onside kick with two minutes remaining. It was part of a 15-point fourth-quarter by Seattle.
Green Bay would soon tie the game at 22 on a 48-yard field goal by Mason Crosby, sending it to overtime. On the first possession of extra time, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw a game-winning 35-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse for a 28-22 Seattle victory.
