TAMPA, Fla. (AP) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released offensive tackle Anthony Collins and re-signed cornerback Leonard Johnson and safety Major Wright.

The team also announced Tuesday it made a restricted free agent tender to running back Bobby Rainey, who has been with the Bucs for most of the past two seasons.

Collins signed a five-year, $30 million in free agency last year, when coach Lovie Smith and general manager Jason Licht overhauled the offensive line. But he was a major disappointment, losing the left tackle job late in the season, finishing with just 10 starts.

Johnson was a restricted free agent who played in all 16 games last year, making three starts. Wright was an unrestricted free agent who started seven games for Tampa Bay in 2014.

Rainey appeared in 15 games last season, rushing for 406 yards and one touchdown.
