Former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham will have surgery on Thursday to repair a herniated disc, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.

Gresham injured his back during the regular season finale and missed Cincinnati’s Wild Card Round loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Earlier this week, Rapoport reported that Gresham was still not recovered from the injury.

Gresham, 26, caught 62 balls for 460 yards and five touchdowns last season.
