Shayanna Jenkins, the fiancée of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez, will be called to testify on Friday in his murder trial, according to an Associated Press report

The court granted immunity to Jenkins in February, which means prosecutors can compel her to testify. Those same prosecutors have alleged Jenkins lied to a grand jury when questioned about the killing of Odin Lloyd.

Lloyd was in a relationship with Jenkins' younger sister at the time and was found dead less than a mile from Jenkins' house.

Jenkins has appeared in court sporadically throughout the trial to demonstrate her support for Hernandez, but has not made an appearance since Mar. 6.

Jenkins, 25, is the mother of Hernandez' two-year-old child and has been in a relationship with the former New England Patriots tight end since she was in high school.

The trial has already lasted more than three weeks, and has captivated local and national attention. The news that Jenkins would testify came hours after an anonymous bomb threat was phoned to the Bristol County Superior Courthouse, in which the trial is taking place.
