• Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryantconfirmed his plans of possibly skipping the team’s season opener if he does not receive a long-term contract extension.
• The New England Patriotsreceived their Super Bowl rings from owner Robert Kraft during a private party at his house on Sunday.
• Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said his goal is to break Emmitt Smith's career rushing yards record. "I don't think it's impossible,'' Peterson told the Pioneer Press.
