Monday July 27th, 2015

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will begin this year's training camp on July 31 in Tampa, Fla.

The Buccaneers finished 2014 with a 2-14 record in Lovie Smith’s first season with the team. It was the seventh straight season Tampa Bay has failed to make the playoffs.

During the 2015 off-season, Tampa Bay picked up veteran tight end Tim Wright and added defensive pieces such as defensive end George Johnson, defensive tackle Henry Melton, linebackers Bruce Carter and Larry Dean, cornerback Sterling Moore, and safety Chris Conte.

In the draft, the Buccaneers selected former Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston with the first overall pick and picked offensive linemen Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet in the second round.
