Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is out for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a concussion, the team announced.
The running back left the game in the first quarter after taking a hard hit. Freeman then headed to the locker room to be evaluated.
Before exiting early, Freeman had three carries for 43 yards. This season, the second-year player has picked up 721 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Falcons led by a touchdown after the first quarter.
