Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden made a one-handed catch on sidelines during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

If the Washington Redskins need a new wide receiver, head coach Jay Gruden should be the first choice.

Gruden made an impressive catch during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Quarterback Kirk Cousins overthrew the ball out of bounds on a pass attempt, but Gruden took one step back to make a one-handed grab on the sidelines.

The play was obviously ruled an incompletion, but Gruden will have a nice highlight for his reel.

Washington lost to the undefeated Panthers 44–16.
