Peyton Manning returns to Broncos' practice, ruled out vs. Steelers

Peyton Manning was spotted back on the field at Denver Broncos practice for the the first time in over a month, according to James Palmer of NFL.com.

Manning was under center taking snaps with the second team, Palmer reported.

Manning has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Nicki Jhabala of the Denver Post.

The Broncos will still start Brock Osweiler as the team is 3–1 in his four starts this season.

Manning, now out of a walking boot and cast, is recovering from a tear in the plantar fascia near his left heel from the 27–24 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 8. He last participated in Broncos' practice on Nov. 13.

Last week, Manning did a half hour of throwing and some drill work apart from the rest of the team.
