The Denver Broncos wasted no time in getting on the scoreboard on Sunday against the Chargers.

On their second play from scrimmage, quarterback Brock Osweiler found wideout Demaryius Thomas on the right sideline, who then turned it upfield. Thomas lost three defenders, and side-stepped past another for a 72-yard score.

An extra point made the score 7–0 in Denver early in the first.
