Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has some interest in St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Foles was drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, while Pederson was a quarterbacks coach under Andy Reid. He worked with Foles for one season before following Reid to the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive coordinator.

Foles looked like he had potential to be a solid starter under coach Chip Kelly, throwing for 2,891 yards, 27 touchdowns and two interceptions in 2013. However, he fell out of favor in Philadelphia and was traded to the Rams for quarterback Sam Bradford prior to the 2015 season.

According to Schefter, the Eagles are not expected to use the franchise tag on Bradford. However, the team does have interest in re-signing him.

Bradford went 7–7 in 14 starts this season, completing 65% of his passes with 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
