The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed tight end Jermaine Gresham, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Gresham, 27, reportedly received interest from other teams, but turned down higher-paying offers to stay with the Cardinals. His most lucrative offer was $23 million over four years with $12 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.

Gresham transitioned to more of a blocking role in his first season in Arizona. The two-time Pro Bowler came into the league as a receiving tight end out of Oklahoma and excelled in the Cincinnati Bengals offense over five seasons.

He had his most productive season in 2011, recording 64 catches for 737 yards and five touchdowns.
