Report: Vikings re-sign CB Terence Newman

Veteran cornerback Terence Newman has re-signed with the Minnesota Vikings, reportsUSA Today’s Tom Pelissero.

Newman played in all 16 games for Minnesota last season, his first year with the team. Newman recorded 62 tackles and three interceptions in his time on the field. 

After nine seasons with the Cowboys to start his career, Newman has played for the Bengals and Vikings the past four seasons. Newman’s three interceptions in 2015 were his most since the 2011 season, and last year was the first time he played in 16 games since 2010.

Ravens, Mike Wallace agree to two-year deal

In 190 career games, Newman has recorded 803 tackles, eight forced fumbles and and 40 interceptions. Newman’s contract is for one year and $3 million, according to the report.
